Ingredients

  • 400g can of chickpeas

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp cream of tartar (you can use lemon or lime juice instead but it will affect the taste)

Method

1. Drain your 400g can of chickpeas but keep the water it sits in (aquafaba)...I REALLY recommend using organic chickpeas as the aquafaba is a MUCH higher quality⁣⁣
2. Use your chickpeas to make hummus (recipe vid posted on my page!)⁣⁣
3. Place aquafaba in fridge for at least an hour⁣⁣
4. Whip aquafaba in a metal bowl for about 5 mins, or until very fluffy⁣⁣
5. Add the vanilla extract, maple syrup, and cream of tartar
6. Whip until super fluffy and use to top 🥞, 🧇, or 🍓⁣⁣
7. Store in fridge for a few hours or freeze for up to a month⁣⁣
