High-Protein Lupin Bean Hummus
This is perfect if you’re looking for a higher-protein dip as lupin beans have double the protein of chickpeas! I also find them easier to digest.
Ingredients
-1 cup lupini beans⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1/2 cup tahini ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Juice of 1 large lemon ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 large cloves of garlic
- ½ tsp black pepper ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- ½ tsp salt ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- ½ tsp cumin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Pinch of cayenne pepper ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- ⅛ - ¼ cup of water
Method
Blend all ingredients together in a food processor, slowly adding in the water.
