Easy Pickled Red Cabbage

These are delicious in salads, on tacos, and a cheese board! Please note that these are not shelf stable, only fridge stable as they are NOT fermented pickles.

Ingredients

-1/2 cup chopped red cabbage ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 cup water ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2-3 tbsp sugar ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 minced cloves of garlic ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 tsp salt⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1/2 tsp black pepper ⁣

Method

  1. Simply add everything to an airtight jar and then put it in a cupboard overnight and enjoy for 2-3 weeks!
