Easy Pickled Red Cabbage
These are delicious in salads, on tacos, and a cheese board! Please note that these are not shelf stable, only fridge stable as they are NOT fermented pickles.
Ingredients
-1/2 cup chopped red cabbage ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 cup water ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2-3 tbsp sugar ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 minced cloves of garlic ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 tsp salt⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Method
Simply add everything to an airtight jar and then put it in a cupboard overnight and enjoy for 2-3 weeks!
