Black Bean “Guac”
Maybe you’re looking for a higher-protein alternative, you’re allergic to avocados, or looking to add something else to you tacos/dip repertoire. Whatever the reason this black bean “guac” is sure to impress even the avocado enthusiasts.
Ingredients
1 400g can of black beans (drained)
1 large garlic clove
Juice of 1 lime
3/4 cup coriander
1 tsp cumin
Salt+pepper to taste (don’t be shy!)
pinch of cayenne (optional)
Directions
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth, add a touch of water if needed.
Enjoy as a dip with cucumber or tortilla chips, or as a spread with crackers or pita.
